Dear friends of „Teachers Without Borders,“,
Spring, more than any other season, stands for new beginnings and fresh starts, and in your association, we have once again set out and are now with „reality gives“ a viable partner to develop and expand schools in India.
I myself took advantage of the past school-free time to get an impression of the reality of life for millions of children in the slum areas of India, together with our network school, the Robert Koch Gymnasium Deggendorf.
Despite indescribable poverty, we encountered children and adolescents who eagerly seized the opportunities to learn, finding hope for a better life within them. In the future, our India projects will be overseen by two teachers from the Robert Koch Gymnasium, Sonja Würf and Veronika Weinberger. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your great commitment!
To raise donations for our worldwide projects, the board was able to report on the association's work at Zonta in Bremen, within the MINT-EC program, and at didacta in Cologne at our partner schultech's booth. Additionally, we welcome author Reiner Engelmann as a new ambassador for the association.
You see, your association is growing and thriving with the dawn of spring, and for thousands of children and young people worldwide who have the chance and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child's right to a fresh start through education – together we can make this happen!
