Wilhelmshaven. Vor einem Jahr gründete Dr. Wiebke Endres, Studiendirektorin am Neuen Gymnasium, den Verein „Lehrerinnen und Lehrer ohne Grenzen“. Zusammen mit ihren Mitgliedern hat sie seither schon so einiges auf die Beine gestellt. Nun lädt der Verein für Freitag, 13. Mai um 19:00 Uhr in das Logenhaus an der Rheinstraße 65 ein. „Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir diese Räumlichkeiten nutzen können“, erzählt Endres. Ein kleines, aber feines Programm hat der Verein vorbereitet. Sybille Hellmann, Schauspielerin an der Landesbühne, wird aus dem Roman „Hallo, Mister Gott, hier spricht Anna“ vorlesen. Autorin Regine Kölpin wird Auszüge aus ihrer dreiteiligen Saga „Das Haus am Deich“ vorstellen, in der es um eine Fluchtgeschichte ihrer Familie geht. Musikalisch wird Mirka Dutjer den Abend begleiten.

Gerade im Hinblick auf den Ukraine-Krieg würde einem vor Augen geführt, was Kindern in anderen Teilen der Welt durchmachen müssen, betont Endres. „Kinder, die hier aufwachsen, verstehen nicht, dass es anderen Kindern auf der Welt nicht gut geht. Diese Ungerechtigkeit ist schwer zu erklären.“ Versuchen, diese Ungerechtigkeit aus der Welt zu schaffen, das ist ein Ziel des Vereins, aber auch dafür zu sorgen, dass Kinder die Chance auf eine elementare Schulbildung haben. Aktuell unterstützt „Lehrer ohne Grenzen“ sechs Projekte in Afrika, Peru und Indonesien – und wenn es nach Wiebke Endres geht, können viele weitere noch dazu kommen. So sind die Mitglieder des Vereins auch immer wieder selber vor Ort, besuchen die Schulen und unterstützten Lehrkräfte bei der Unterrichtsgestaltung.

Wichtig sei es nicht zwanghaft zu versuchen, die eigenen Unterrichtsmethoden und Gestaltungen auf die einzelnen Schulen zu projizieren. „Wir können auf Bali nicht einfach zwei Stunden Chemie unterrichten.“ Häufig fehlte es dort an vielen kleinen Dingen, etwa Stühlen oder Büchern, so Endres.

Die Erlöse des Benefizkonzerts kommen vollständig dem Verein „Lehrer ohne Grenzen“ zugute und sollen weitere Projekte fördern. Karten gibt es in der Buchhandlung Prien in Fedderwardergroden zu kaufen.
