Shaun Wilkinson, Co-founder of our network school Hope High School<\/a> in Mombasa, was on site and reported on his stay for us:<\/p>\n

\u201eGreetings from Mombasa! From March 25th to April 7th, I was visiting the Hope Children's Centre again to see our wonderful children and teachers. We successfully planned a lot, met with parents, distributed clothing to families in need, and most importantly, discussed how we can secure the future of the school.<\/em><\/p>\n

The biggest challenge remains covering personnel costs \u2013 how do we gather enough each month to pay teachers' salaries? Currently, our finances are just enough to cover all expenses, but there's almost nothing left to save for other eventualities like repairs. Even small monthly donations could make a huge difference here!<\/em><\/p>\n

On the positive side, we are very satisfied with the academic performance of our students in both schools. Exams have just concluded, and we are eagerly awaiting the results. We are motivated and optimistic that the future will bring even more success!\u201c\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

As of this month, we are supporting the Hope Children's Centre with a monthly donation to prevent the closure of their secondary school. It currently offers 55 students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma \u2013 there are no other schools with comparable support in the surrounding area. If you would like to support the work on the ground, we would be grateful for your donation!<\/p>\n
